Seeking Your Business Presentation Stories!

We want to hear stories about business presentations from YOU!

by Kelly Vandever

I’ve written several posts about storytelling and included stories in a majority of my blog posts.

Now, it’s your turn to tell me stories!

I’m in the process of co-authoring a book with my NSA colleague Bob Goodyear.  While we will certainly be telling stories from our experiences and coaching, we’d love to hear stories from you!

Specifically, we’re looking for stories of good and bad business presentation experiences.

Business Presentations You’ve Made

Tell us a time when you did a business presentation that went especially well.  What about the presentation lead to your success?

Tell us about a time when your business presentation did not go so well.  What did you learn from the experience?  What do you do differently now because of that experience?

Business Presentations When You Were the Audience

Tell us about that subject matter expert who adeptly explained a complex concept.  What made their explanation successful?   What results did they get from their presentation?

Tell us about a time when the subject matter expert lost you, frustrated you, ticked you off.  What specifically did they do that annoyed you?  What could they have done differently to engage you?  What did or didn’t happen as a result of their presentation?

We Want to Hear about All Kinds of Business Presentations

Sales pitches

Project status reporting

Funding proposals

Research findings briefings

Peer cross-training

Presentations to clients

Presentations to prospects

Board briefings

Executive presentations

Conference presentations

Nothing is too big or too small.  Share YOUR STORIES in the comments below or email them to Kelly . Vandever @ SpeakingPractically . com.

If we use your story in our book, you’ll receive a complementary copy of the book!

We look forward to hearing your business presentation stories!
