Mark Kretschmar

Unlike any other speaker or mentor, Mark uses engineering tools and viewpoints to understand and dissect communication problems and he can show his fellow engineers and other technical-types how to do the same. When communication is viewed as a problem to be solved, suddenly it falls into the engineer’s area of expertise. Engineers are amazing problem solvers – therefore they can be amazing communicators and speakers.

This fusion of engineering and research-based communication principals has engineers from the world’s biggest brands talking about “drastic change,” “helpful algorithms,” “time well spent,” and Mark’s “deep domain knowledge.” As a skeptical engineer and professor of communication studies, he bases his content on academic research rather than current fads or unfounded opinions.

Pam Leinmiller

Frustrated that your excellent sales pitch, cutting-edge research or perfect solution sounds so much better in your head than when you try to explain it? Pam is an expert at working with highly-intelligent and technically-minded people to enable them to accurately, effectively and confidently communicate.  She genuinely enjoys working with people to help them further develop their skills as communicators and connect with their audience.  She also provides professional meeting moderation when a third-party is needed to complete the agenda while ensuring participants have an opportunity to contribute.

Pam is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, and she is a lifelong learner.  Her training experience spans nearly 30 years. Beginning in the medical industry, she organized and conducted training in both small and large groups as well as one-on-one. She has spent 20 years as a small group facilitator, fostering and managing discussions while moving groups through required material.  More recently, she has worked with Speaker Bureau members of dozens of Pharmaceutical companies to help them improve their presentation and meeting moderation skills.  Pam is a professional member of The National Speakers Association and has the ability to relate to a wide range of personality types, professional skill levels, and learning styles.  In the words of one professor, she helped turn his PhD-level research into a TEDx talk “that my grandmother could understand”!

Pam lives in Atlanta with her husband of 32 years, Mark.  They are the parents of two married daughters and grandparents to a kitty and a puppy!  Pam is an avid sports fan and loves anything involving physical activity.  She and Mark have summited Mt. Whitney (CA) and Mt. Washington (NH) in the past 2 summers and look forward to their next adventure.
