I’m So Glad You Asked – Handling the Questions from Your Audience

Book Review – Presentation Zen:  Simple Ideas on Presentation Design and Delivery by Garr Reynolds
You had me at Guy Kawasaki’s foreword.    

As I soaked up the pages of Garr Reynolds’ Presentation Zen, I said to my husband, “Oh my gosh, this book is AWESOME!”

I usually don’t get giddy about a book.  I was giggling as I said those words to the hubby.

 

That was 4 years ago and since then, I’ve used Garr Reynold’s approach to creating presentation slides and haven’t looked back.

Book Review – “Confessions of a Public Speaker” by Scott Berkun

Confession #1 – I thoroughly enjoyed this book.  It made me laugh out loud and I love anyone or anything that can make me laugh out loud!  It would probably be faster to count the pages where I didn’t underline, circle or highlight at least one sentence than it would be to count those pages where I did.  I put asterisks next to websites, studies and books that Berkun references that I intend to read.  I wrote the word “quote” in …
